If you have an illness or injury that keeps you from working for a long period of time, you may be able to protect your finances with the help of Long Term Disability (LTD) benefits. LTD benefits provide income replacement when you are unable to work because of an illness or injury. In other words, you still receive a portion of your paycheck, even when you can’t work.
